Your research profile is your academic identity on CUEBES. It showcases your publications, metrics, and research interests to the community.
Creating Your Profile
Step 1: Enable Research
To get started with CUEBES Research:
- Go to Research Hub
- Click "Create Research Profile"
- Your profile will be created with your existing CUEBES account information
Step 2: Add Basic Information
Edit your profile to add:
- Position - Your current role (e.g., "Assistant Professor", "PhD Candidate")
- Institution - Your university or research organization
- Department - Your academic department or lab
- Research interests - Topics you work on (helps with discoverability)
Step 3: Add Education
List your academic degrees:
- Degree type (PhD, Master's, Bachelor's, etc.)
- Field of study
- Institution
- Graduation year
Step 4: Connect External IDs
Link your other academic identifiers:
- ORCID - Highly recommended for verification
- Scopus Author ID
- ResearcherID / Web of Science
- Google Scholar
- Semantic Scholar
Profile Completeness
Your profile shows a completeness score. Higher completeness helps with:
- Appearing in search results
- Building trust with collaborators
- Getting recommended to others
To increase your score:
- Add your ORCID and verify it
- Add at least one education entry
- List your research interests
- Upload publications
- Add your institution and position
Profile Visibility
Your research profile inherits your CUEBES privacy settings. You can control:
- Whether your profile appears in search
- Who can see your full profile details
- Publication-level visibility (per publication)
Viewing Your Profile
Your research profile is accessible at:
cuebes.com/platform/research/researcher/your-username/
You can also access it via the "Research" tab on your main profile.
