  • Have a public paper with private supplementary data
  • Share data with project members only
  • Make data public after an embargo period

Projects

Research projects can be:

  • Public - Showcase your collaborations
  • Members only - Visible just to project team

Private Publication Limits

Free tier users have limited private publications:

Team Unlimited

Embargo Support

Some journals require embargo periods. Handle this by:

  1. Upload your publication as "Private"
  2. Set a reminder for the embargo end date
  3. Change to "Public" when the embargo lifts
Tip: You can still share private publications with specific collaborators by adding them as co-authors.
