Creating a Publication
Method 1: Import from DOI
The easiest way - let us fetch the metadata automatically:
- Go to Create Publication
- Enter the DOI (e.g.,
10.1000/xyz123) - Click "Lookup DOI"
- Review and edit the auto-filled metadata
- Upload your PDF (optional)
- Click "Create Publication"
Tip: DOI lookup works with Crossref and DataCite. Most published papers have a DOI - check your paper's first page or the publisher's website.
Method 2: Manual Entry
For works without a DOI:
- Go to Create Publication
- Select the publication type
- Fill in the metadata:
- Title (required)
- Authors (you're added automatically)
- Abstract
- Journal/Conference name
- Publication date
- Volume, issue, pages
- Keywords
- Upload your PDF (optional)
- Click "Create Publication"
