Creating a Publication

Method 1: Import from DOI

The easiest way - let us fetch the metadata automatically:

  1. Go to Create Publication
  2. Enter the DOI (e.g., 10.1000/xyz123)
  3. Click "Lookup DOI"
  4. Review and edit the auto-filled metadata
  5. Upload your PDF (optional)
  6. Click "Create Publication"
Tip: DOI lookup works with Crossref and DataCite. Most published papers have a DOI - check your paper's first page or the publisher's website.

Method 2: Manual Entry

For works without a DOI:

  1. Go to Create Publication
  2. Select the publication type
  3. Fill in the metadata:
    • Title (required)
    • Authors (you're added automatically)
    • Abstract
    • Journal/Conference name
    • Publication date
    • Volume, issue, pages
    • Keywords
  4. Upload your PDF (optional)
  5. Click "Create Publication"
