Control who can see your videos and manage content settings

Control who sees your videos and how viewers can interact with them. Wave gives you flexible privacy options for every piece of content you create.

Visibility Levels

Public

  • Anyone can find and watch your video
  • Appears in Wave feeds and search results
  • Can be shared outside CUEBES
  • Best for content you want maximum reach on

Platform

  • Only visible to logged-in CUEBES members
  • Appears in feeds for members only
  • Good for community-focused content

Connections

  • Only your connections can see the video
  • Won't appear in public feeds
  • Good for content meant for your network

Private

  • Only you can see the video
  • Useful for drafts or personal archives
  • Won't appear anywhere except your own dashboard

Changing Visibility

You can change a video's visibility at any time:

  1. Go to your Creator Dashboard
  2. Find the video you want to change
  3. Click "Edit"
  4. Update the visibility setting
  5. Save changes
Tip: Changing from private to public won't notify your subscribers. The video simply becomes discoverable.

Interaction Controls

Comments

For each video, you can:

  • Allow comments - Viewers can leave comments and replies
  • Disable comments - No one can comment on the video

Duets

Duets allow other creators to make response videos alongside yours:

  • Allow duets - Others can create video responses
  • Disable duets - No one can duet your video

Content Moderation

Videos go through moderation to ensure they meet community guidelines. Status types:

Status Meaning
Approved Video is live and visible per your settings
Pending Video is under review
Flagged Video needs attention or has been reported
Removed Video was removed for violating guidelines

NSFW Content

If your content contains mature themes:

  • Mark it as NSFW during upload
  • The video will display with a content warning
  • Viewers must confirm they want to see it
Important: Failing to mark NSFW content appropriately may result in content removal or account restrictions.

Pinning Videos

You can pin important videos to the top of your channel:

  1. Go to your video's edit page
  2. Toggle "Pin to channel"
  3. Pinned videos appear first when someone visits your channel

Deleting Videos

To permanently delete a video:

  1. Go to your Creator Dashboard
  2. Find the video
  3. Click "Delete"
  4. Confirm deletion
Warning: Deleted videos cannot be recovered. All views, likes, and comments will be permanently lost.
