The Creator Dashboard is your command center for managing videos, tracking performance, and customizing your Wave channel.
Accessing Your Dashboard
Go to /wave/dashboard/ or click your profile picture and select "Creator Dashboard".
Dashboard Sections
Overview
Your dashboard homepage shows:
- Total videos - Number of videos you've uploaded
- Total views - Combined views across all content
- Subscribers - People following your channel
- Recent performance - Quick stats on your latest uploads
Videos
Manage all your content at /wave/dashboard/videos/:
- Filter by status - Published, Draft, or All
- Filter by type - Videos, Vids, or All
- Sort - By newest, oldest, or view count
- Actions - Edit, delete, or change visibility
Analytics
Track your performance at /wave/dashboard/analytics/:
Per-Video Metrics
- Views - Total number of times watched
- Likes - Number of likes received
- Comments - Engagement through comments
- Shares - How often your video was shared
- Average watch percentage - How much of your video viewers typically watch
Channel Metrics
- Subscriber growth - New subscribers over time
- Total views - Cumulative views across all videos
- Top performing content - Your most successful videos
Tip: Check your average watch percentage. If viewers drop off early, consider making your intros more engaging.
Channel Settings
Customize your channel at /wave/dashboard/channel/:
Channel Profile
- Channel name - The name displayed on your channel
- Description - Tell visitors what your channel is about
- Avatar - Your channel's profile picture
- Banner - The header image on your channel page
Managing Subscribers
Your subscribers see your content in their subscription feed. You can:
- View your subscriber count on the dashboard
- See growth trends in analytics
- Subscribers are notified when you post new content

Drafts
Save videos as drafts to:
- Prepare content in advance
- Review before publishing
- Edit metadata without going live
Bulk Management
For efficient content management:
- Use filters to find specific videos quickly
- Sort by views to identify top performers
- Review older content for potential updates
Understanding Your Analytics
What Good Metrics Look Like
- Watch percentage over 50% - Viewers are engaged with your content
- Growing subscriber count - Your channel is attracting new viewers
- Consistent views - Your content regularly reaches people
Improving Performance
- Low views? - Improve titles and thumbnails
- Low watch time? - Hook viewers in the first few seconds
- Few comments? - Ask questions and encourage engagement
